Something that this wedding taught me is that I love a small, intimate wedding. They are so personalized to the couple’s liking while also prioritizing their guests’ experience and the time they’re able to spend with them. Valerie and Andrew’s wedding was just that! Their vision was to have a great party with their family and friends. They loved Enso Wine Bar and the location and vibe that came with it.

Valerie and Andrew had a sweet, spring celebration filled with good wine, delicious food (including some of Portland’s best doughnuts!) and even better company. Their wedding took place at Enso Wine Bar in Portland, Oregon. If you love wine and Portland, this is such a perfect space for your small event. Once I’m not pregnant for the first time in almost two years, I cannot wait to go back here to enjoy a glass of wine myself. We had the ceremony take place in the back room, then later we partially flipped the space to add in a few more tables for seating and the buffet in addition to the bar and tables up front.

My favorite details of their wedding day have to go to the food! I always love when a couple ventures out in their wedding food choices and the Lebanese buffet from Hoda’s Restaurant and Catering was such a great choice. And to top the night off, Pip’s Original Doughnuts food truck came down for some tasty treats that evening. If you live in or near Portland (or even if you’ve just visited!) and you haven’t tried Pip’s Original Doughnuts, that needs to be at the top of your to-do list. All in all, Valerie and Andrew’s wedding was such a joyous, beautiful celebration. The intimacy of the day made for such a heartfelt experience for not only the couple, but all the guests, too!
