The sweetest wedding to end my first double wedding weekend. Sofia and Jake were such a kind, down-to-earth couple to work with. Their vision was for a woodsy and rustic wedding with the color scheme of sage, cream and cognac brown. They wanted their florals to be filled with white roses and lots of greenery. They really wanted it to feel very casual and welcoming to all their guests!

Sofia and Jake had a beautiful, woodsy summer wedding, surrounded by family, friends and Oregon’s natural green beauty. Their wedding took place on Jake’s family’s property in Beavercreek, Oregon. It was such a peaceful spot to host such a beautiful wedding with trees all around. Sofia and Jake had long, wooden farm tables brought in from West Coast Event Production Rentals, which were the perfect touch to elevate their reception area. They filled up the back of a red pick-up truck with ice to hold all their beverages. And there was a lovely pergola on the property that was used for the dance floor!

Sofia and Jake’s wedding was so special as is because of where it took place. It was a spot unique to them and that made it all the more memorable. As a vendor (and the bride and groom, too!), one of the best things is to have a solid vendor team. Sofia and Jake had an amazing vendor team, which made the day run even smoother. HvFitz Photos is one of the best photographers out there. Although I may be a bit biased as she captured many of my big moments in life; her work never, ever disappoints. Songbird Floristry is another vendor that I will forever lift up in praises. She always creates beautiful work. Their wedding was elevated even more by bringing in the signage done by Life in Letters, her talent never ceases to amaze me. I promise you that having a solid vendor team that you know you can trust is a key part to have a stress-free planning experience and feeling so good on your wedding day! In addition to a great vendor team, Sofia and Jake had such a gorgeous day that welcomed their guests in with love, laughter and lots of yummy dessert!
