ZOEY & ISAIAH

September 18, 2021

This wedding has a special place in my heart because it was my first wedding! I had been assisting weddings all summer long and had just finished my wedding certification. Zoey was looking for a last-minute coordinator and I wanted to dive into weddings. A mutual friend connected us and they decided to give this young, eager, new event planner a chance. The rest is history!

Zoey and Isaiah had a beautiful autumn, rustic-boho wedding, incorporating burnt orange and golden hues and lots of pampas into their fall celebration. Their wedding took place at the Farm on Golden Hill in Silverton, Oregon. We had their ceremony out in the meadow overlooking the vineyard and their reception was held in the historic barn. Originally, the ceremony and the reception were both supposed to take place in the grazing meadow, but if you know anything about Oregon’s weather in the fall, you know it’s quite unpredictable. With some quick thinking and a few extra hands, we made a quick adjustment right before the wedding and set up a beautiful reception inside the barn! And now, the Farm on Golden Hill added a new event center (which is stunning!) that you will definitely want to consider for your wedding.

One of my absolute favorite parts about weddings is seeing what unique or special touches the couple adds into their wedding day, like having your adorable pup escort the groom down the aisle (and as you can see below, Oakley crushed it). Zoey and Isaiah also chose to honor the loving memory of Zoey’s brother with a pair of cowboy boots, walked down the aisle by Zoey’s sister. It’s the intentional details that make the best day even more special. What I loved most of all about this beautiful September day is how much love and joy and fun was visually present in every moment. You could just tell how much Zoey and Isaiah cared for each and every guest and the feeling was so mutual.

“We hired Samantha for our wedding in September of 2021 and it was such a relief to have someone the day of our wedding being able to coordinate things so we were able to enjoy our day with our bridal parties getting ready and being in the moment. There will always be things that occur unexpectedly and having someone like Samantha be able to handle everything was amazing. She listened to our wants and desires. Communicated with us in a timely manner, coordinated with other vendors and made everything flow seamlessly! If you are on the fence of deciding to hire a coordinator, take it from me, SHE IS YOUR GAL! It was a pleasure to have her apart of our day and I recommend her to all future brides!” - Zoey & Isaiah Sunghera
