Every single time I look back on this wedding, I make some comment about how it should be pictured in Vogue. Seriously. Ask my husband. Katie and Logan had a strong, clear vision for their wedding from the day I met them and they pulled together all the right people to make that happen. Their vision was for their day to be modern, timeless and simple. They chose not to add much color because they didn’t want to have a single regret in years to come. Although I do love a colorful wedding as well, this decision truly paid off.

Katie and Logan had the most timeless, gorgeous summer wedding with the most simple and elegant florals and decor that they will truly love forever. Their wedding took place at Aurora Vineyards in Aurora, Oregon. By now, you should be catching on to how amazing this venue is! Their ceremony took place in the amphitheater and the reception was held inside. The welcome table was placed under the covered patio, so guests could drop off their gifts and sign the guestbook before heading down the stairs to find a seat for the ceremony. This was also a great idea for the time of year it was. The end of August in Oregon tends to be very hot and most guests linger around the welcome table until they need to find a seat in the sun. Having the welcome table in a covered area ensured some shade before the ceremony! For cocktail hour, the entire space was utilized! With the bar being inside, guests would grab a drink and head back out to the back patio to mingle. Lastly, dancing took place on the front patio under the string lights! After seeing the dance floor in each location at the venue, I would have to say that this is my favorite.

A lot of couples have just the sweetheart table or just the head table, but Katie and Logan opted to have a sweetheart table with two tables for the bridal party on one side of them and one table for their immediate family on the other side of them. I loved this idea because it showed their love and appreciation to those closest to them. They wanted each and every one of them by their side while also having their own special spot for their wedding day. Katie and Logan were such a classy, beautiful couple to work with. Their wedding day was nothing short of timeless.
